This looks nice! Mind sharing where you got it? And does it work well with the actual key? I bought one and the key wouldn't sit in ignition with the cover on
How would you put the hybrid into neutral to get into tow truck if the battery is completely dead? Read the manual and it said it needs to go into tow mode in settings but obviously if my truck is dead I can't do that.
Unfotunately every single GY tire I have owned (included Eagle F1) has prematurely dry rotted on the side walls even when garage kept. Company I work for has trucks that come with GY and they stated the same thing so I've vowed to never run GY again.
Don't worry the "slippery mode" just adjusts throttle, braking, and traction control to help in slippery conditions. It's not like 4x4 where you have a Max speed so anything under 100 should be fine in that mode.
Update: I trickle charged the battery two days ago and then drove it both yesterday and today long distances and it is still in sleep mode. Battery was only at 77% when I started charging it so not horribly low. This issue is very frustrating.
I think my next step is to disable all the remote...
Thanks for the information about what you have tried. This is sounding more and more like an actual issue with the system since several others have had the same results as you. Is your new battery bigger capacity than the OEM one was?
I may end up trying a better battery too if my trickle charger only gives me an extra day or two before sleep mode. Will going AGM for battery have any negative effects on the system at all?
