I still say the Maverick project isn't dead, Ford just needs to get the Bronco's up and running, They have lot of reservations pending and need to get that sorted out first, So the Maverick is not dead just on a delay right now.

The prototypes have been built but we are still a long way off before this project gets the okay from the top Ford brass. We are still 6 - 12 months off from that happening.

Ford has millions of dollars in deposits for the Bronco right now and they keep pushing back the build dates for these customers, I just don't see the Maverick "cutting in line" so to speek with the Maverick being almost half the cost of a Bronco.

Don't get too excited by this, A reveal date for the Maverick is still 9 months to a year off. They will put out just enough to let us know the project is not dead, But we are still a ways off.

You are right Dpc, I was pnline today checking out the Ranger's and Bronco Sport.

I think it can be sumed up in two words: Chip shortage.

They did a "test run" of 25 about 6 weeks ago, Full production starts in July.

Hang in there buddy, Maverick production starts in July. My friends had a GMC with all kinds of issues after 60K miles and got rid of it.

Duck tape and chewing gum should hold it together for the next few months.

There are Roush F150 and Ranger, How about a Roush Maverick?

And do a "stand alone" trim level that makes the Maverick unique.
