Does one have to complete that survey to receive the YETI tumbler or do you just get it automatically? I don't think I ever received the survey e-mail after the recall was complete.
You can see it on the first generation F-150 Raptor. It's pretty boring and drab. They could have at least gone with a darker color like the Bronco Everglades' Dessert Sand or whatever it is.
Yes, it does.
It's not darker, it's just metallic as opposed to the flat pastel appearance of A51. Also, believe it or not, sand-colored trucks are very popular and in demand. See: Toyota Tacoma.
Interesting that they finally decided to make the 2.0 the base engine. Azure Grey is a nicer color than A51, although similar. Terrain is a washed out beige..As @Potatomafia said, they really should have gone with Eruption Green and Kodiak Brown, or a darker beige/tan.
So this smell is considered normal? I realize catalytic converters run much hotter than outside ambient temps but I've never experienced this on other vehicles I've owned.
Aside from a few fill-ups on a road trip, we always use Costco 87 or 93, so Top Tier. 8,062 miles, mostly highway.
Yep that's it. It obviously isn't limited to hybrids or the 2.5L as members of the Escape forums with several different engine types have experienced it, including the 2.0 EB.

Lighting affects how the colors appear, especially with Cactus Gray/Fighter Jet Gray for some reason. Also, vehicle lines and contours seem to change how our eyes perceive the color. Perhaps the way the light reflects and refracts. I agree that it does sometimes look like a different color on...
I positioned the clamps as far forward and aft so that the sliding ring still has most of its range of motion. You do lose a little bit of sliding action though.
It's great, no issues. Got it for $850 with MTC discount last year during a sale. There was also a rebate in the form of a prepaid card, I think $850 included that.
Looks like the Armor Flex in the pictures, which I can confirm does fit the Maverick. I installed one on my wife's Mav. Not sure why realtruck doesn't list it there.
Not all dealers accept X-Plan so verify with yours that they do. It can save you a few hundred bucks. Note: you are supposed to be a member of an organization that gives you X-Plan eligibility for 6 months prior to taking delivery of your vehicle. If your vehicle is already built, that ship most...
