I'm not trying to be fussy with you. I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to look at regarding the suspension of the Maverick, in my driveway, orrrrrr in this thread. I'm sure you've looked yours all over and understand it completely, but a picture would be worth a...
No need to think a "build date" means anything. Mine has been built since January and I've been emailed by Ford to expect delivery in May.
Ford just wants to keep me Satisfied, so I got that going for me.
I do intend to look at the rear suspension when the eventuality of getting a Maverick actually happens. Right now, just asking questions because the pictures in this forum fail to show anything besides bed and wheel alignment (the one pic of the control arms doesn't show me why the wheel moves...
So...... When we lower a Maverick, will the rear wheel move further rearward? Sounds like it from this discussion. That might be a good thing? When/if I ever get my already built hybrid I plan on going the hyper-miler route with it.
It looks like my built XLT could have been the source for your microchip......
My Mav is taking a few months of vacation before if gets to work, but Ford just wants to "ensure MY complete satisfaction". Evidently Ford thinks we just aren't satisfied until we've been in limbo for 6 months.
I've seen FJ Cruisers from 2014 going for $46k. Older classic Land Cruiser FJ40's from the 70's can reach $120k. It would have to be a real low mileage 1998 4Runner 4x4 to get $16k.
Many of us that also ordered Bronco's searched for Dealer's that would provide incentives to customers. I'm in a Texas buying group for the full size Bronco and have ordered 2 and received 1 already. Ford didn't like that smaller Dealers were getting large volume orders (~300 per Dealer)...
I got the email that my XLT Hybrid was built a couple of days ago, and I should expect it to arrive by May 1, 2022. It's going to be a long road for those people that don't have VIN's already. Something is going on with Hybrid production, for sure.
My Hybrid Maverick XLT was built a couple of days ago. I got the congrats email from Ford yesterday saying expect shipment within a couple of weeks. Today I got the "hold on" email for another 3 months...................
I was picked for the 12/13 build week with my XLT Hybrid. Tracker shows it still "In Production" as of 01/03/22. It did populate the window sticker last week, which was cool. Hopefully I get to see my new girl this month.
The finance company has already calculated the risk when they assign your son the APR on the loan. The Insurance company calculated the risk when they provide coverage at a specified Premium.
The GAP "insurance" is nothing more than a middle man trying to get an extra $2k from you and they'll...
Welp, my hybrid Mav with VIN and build week of 12/13 still shows no updates on the Ford site and no window sticker...
I guess I will just patiently keep waiting.
