I ordered July 31 and the truck was built and shipped this past week. I'm very happy I'm getting a 24 model year over having to go with a 25 considering all the changes. Who else has a 24 on the way?
Update since I started this post. I placed my order on July 31 with my dealer not thinking I had good odds but I'm in production! I'm so pumped to get exactly what I wanted and my first ever new car!
If my 24 Cactus Grey order hadn't got scheduled at the last second I would have ordered a 25. I planned for Velocity blue if that had happened and I have to admit I think the VB beats the CG. But I was also intrigued by Space White, I feel like I'd need to see it in person to really get a feel...
I thought this might be interesting to get others opinion on. So many colors I feel do not look the same when you compare pics to real life. For me Cactus Grey didn't do anything for me from pictures but seeing it in real life I love it.
I think it's perfect but I'm biased I have a Cactus XL on order 😂 But seriously even if money was no concern I would still pick the XL over the higher trims. I think there are a lot of buyers who truly prefer a more basic truck with less not more. To me that's what the Maverick represented and...
I say go for it! I ordered my XL Ecoboost July 31 and my dealer didn't seem optimistic on my odds but two weeks later I got an email that it's scheduled to be built I figured I had nothing to lose. I'd say put the order in tomorrow first thing and see if they will let you put in a order for a...
I opted to not get it from the factory because I was worried about constraints. I was thinking of using my Ford points towards the dealer doing it instead. Anybody else do the same? Pros? Cons?
Thank you
I've always wondered does it save that much gas in regular driving conditions like just normal stop light in a smaller town? I'm sure it helps in heavy city traffic obviously. I also wonder if all the constant restarting bad for the battery, starter, spark plugs etc? I feel like when I get my...
I know many people feel trucks are meant to get used and dirty, which I totally get. However I've always been fanatical about keeping my vehicles clean and I thoroughly enjoy it too. For me I just love getting up early on Saturday morning and washing the car by hand and adding some polish/wax...
I'm curious who opted to not have a bed liner? I did not order one simply because I thought I could get it done locally a little cheaper. But I do think trucks look great without the liner but then they get scratched up. So who doesn't have one and why?
My dealer said if the factory does not install it then they will not install it either. But I am nervous they will forget and do it anyway. I literally want zero dealer prep no front plate, no dealer stickers, no plastic taken off the seats, not even a wash. I guess I better just remind them...
My state requires front license plates however and I noticed it was on my order sheet from the dealer. I asked my dealer to remove it and he said he can't. Does anyone know if the factory installs the bracket or if it is just on the build sheet and the dealer installs it? I really do not want...
I'm sooo excited! My dealer told me today I'm scheduled for October 7th for my XL Ecoboost. I feel incredibly lucky cause I just ordered it July 31 and the dealer was not optimistic about my odds. But I truly wanted the old front end and cactus grey so I was gonna lose both with a 2025. I hope...
I found out mine got scheduled today as well! October 7th, XL Ecoboost in cactus gray. I'm so pumped cause truly didn't think it would happen before the 24 cut off.
