OP I really like the set up and will likely duplicate it. The fact that you don't need locks is brilliant. Tailgate pads are legit. 13 hours from Austin to Angel Fire all bikes and tailgate fine, NM roads are horrible. I have a hitch rack for my ebike but agree about the camera, parking and such.

Dude settle down, it seems my experience on others aren't in line with yours. I suggested Ford produce what they can and people buy it.

Seems like ford has alienated loyal customers.

This has made loyal Ford owners' question their(my) loyalty. Is that smart. I could find my own hitch or bed liner.

I'm curious why Ford even opens the order banks. Build what can and see who buys it. Based on everything being $10k over, it will all sell.

The Maverick seems like a unicorn, I bought a couple year old Tacoma TRD Off road. First non-Ford in 22 years. Its more truck than I need. All I want to do is move my German Shephard and my mountain bike. Guess I'll check back in a couple years. This seems dumb.
