  1. More invasive Ford patents

Most cars with lane keep (and electric power assist steering) monitor driver input. If too much time goes by without sensing movement the nanny gets upset and you get an alarm.

The 70's the automakers had more than enough going on. With the new emissions regulations, engine performance (power, economy, and drivability) all took a hit at the big three. They were also dealing with the pressure from loss of market share to Japanese manufacturers. They did not need...

Yeah, it's certainly a good option. I purchased an Ego electric mower with the same logic. Stihl is the top brand in my opinion, but you pay for it. I've had their trimmer and chainsaw in gas for years.
  4. Insurance rates

Sometimes it is though. Like with Hagerty and a classic car. They want a lot of details.
  5. Guess who had to park in the "Oversized" lot today? That's right. Me.

That's why I have 8' doors at a minimum at my place. I just shake my head when I see new houses being built with 7' tall doors. Even if you don't need it, why not get the 8' door just in case. Can't hurt resale value too.

Ethanol wasn't produced in quantity in the 70's. Mandating compliance to something that isn't available doesn't make sense. It's like mandating no more gasoline engines in 2030 when we don't have the electrical generation or distribution capacity to support it.

Ethanol really wasn't around then. There was an ethanol facility building boom in the late 90's and early 2000's.

My stock 2022 F150 won't go in my buddy's 7' garage door. It's a 60's house with a few complications, but what the heck.
  9. Insurance rates

Mine is $179.15 for 6 months from State Farm with 250/250/250 coverage and $1k deductible. It's expensive compared to my 2022 F150 which is $118.17 for the same coverage.
  10. Nice door locks on Toyota!

The Crown replaced the Avalon. The Crown Signia is a crossover/suv-type vehicle. Those locks are standard Toyota fare.
  11. Cool features our Mavs should have

The bed works great for 75% of what I need a truck for!
  12. Holes in bed sidewall.

I think most people don't care, and it saves money not plugging them. Snow and rain are more likely to be kicked up from underneath, especially considering many people put a tonneau cover on.
  13. Window sticker

I always keep them. I also keep the digital copy from the website, like with my Maverick before they took it down, or from my custom orders.

Yep. That principal is how you measure the ethanol content.
  15. Shudder under acceleration

    I'll throw in torque converter.

If my gas engine chainsaw and string trimmer were stolen (again) I would go with a Stihl battery saw and trimmer.
  17. Thanks for the add! Orange you glad I’m here!

For starters you gotta take that pic in the sun!

You can get about any answer you want on the subsidies/value/carbon footprint etc. aspects of renewable fuels and fossil fuels. We have run a Hayabusa with stock 12.5:1 compression on pump E85 and seen notable power increases. For sure it gets less mpg. There are plenty of fuels that have...

I've seen that information and believe it to be true. Where I'm at I can get: 87 E0 87 E10 88 E15 91 E0 91 E10 93 E0 I normally try to get the 87 E10 for my vehicles and have no issues with it. I run the 87 E0 in my small engines, and use the 91 E0 in my dirt bike. My beef is that it...
