I've looked at those a bit and discovered a whole category of teardrop campers I had never heard of. I think I'm going to build myself a DIY teardrop out of foam and fiberglass but I haven't committed yet. If I had a lot of extra money I would just buy a 12k one or something.
I don't think you understand how statistics work lol.
Nobody disagrees that the vehicle market is on fire, nobody disagrees that dealers have crazy markups, and nobody disagrees that sales are up from 2020. I'm not sure if you recall 2020, there happened to be a global disruption to trade and...
I like Ute, I think it describes a car truck more than a small truck though. For example the Santa Cruze looks like a Ute to me but the EB Maverick is similar on paper and I feel like it is a truck. I think this is 90% down to styling.
When I think Ute I think twin turbo v8 Pontiacs hahaha
Yeah I was very impressed with my local Ford dealer Mike Fitzpatrick, I have not purchased the vehicle officially yet but they were very no nonsense and up front about everything thus far. I'm a young guy but I've noticed that typically older dealers are a lot more honest, all the young ones...
Just saw you had a Kia Soul, I very nearly purchased one of those before getting the Maverick. Blame insanely high used car prices.
Jealous of the truck and the Line-X grats! That install is a touch on the more expensive side but not by a lot so don't be discouraged by others complaining about...
I'm usually a Line-X lover because I've seen it used in a wide variety of applications and it holds up exceptionally well. If you have any questions about durability - don't!
I have had my mind swayed a bit because Line-X is quite coarse in my opinion and some others have mentioned rhino liner...
Obviously I could be a tad biased here having ordered in November and I can definitely relate to being irritated at getting passed over. That said however, they have dealers to keep happy and the market has been tough. On this forum all I ever hear is about stealerships and how they should all...
I'm in Georgia and I'm pretty used to the first really cold bit of weather messing with cars pretty bad, even newer ones not cranking sometimes.
I'd take it in to be safe but at least to me that sounds pretty normal considering 0 degrees.
Unpopular gen Y opinion: There are pretty good Chinese knock-offs that are 1:1 copies of Borla
I'm not saying it is moral or the right decision, but that is the trade-off when charging ultra premium prices. I'll pay extra for quality but there are limits.
Short and sweet, interesting that these are the first guys to bring up the reflective dash that I've seen considering every video has an obvious reflection in the front windshield.
Let me try to inject some sanity here
Is Consumer reports sometimes biased or have flawed testing methodology? Of course, this is the same for everyone who does any testing regularly.
Is Consumer report 100% accurate all the time? No
Are they still a decent source for buying advice? Yes! For...
Also just to tack onto this: speculating things like battery replacement (which we can have an educated guess on but no exact number) aren't helpful because let's say the battery lasts 8 years and the ecoboost needs a new turbo in 6 years. We're just speculating at this point
My two cents: Option 2 if they'll agree to sell it to you for invoice (not msrp) - consider this a customer winback and if they don't know what that means just say it is a matter of principle.

I hate this option because while it is the most stress-free it...
