The clicking noises some attributed your question to are not normal while driving. My 2024 XLT hybrid makes them when I approach the vehicle with the fob while it is off or if I open a door, but not while driving. That is something you should have checked by a trusted mechanic.
I'm in a '24 XLT Hybrid with similar issues.
For about a year after receiving the truck, I had no Bluetooth issues, used wireless Android Auto without problems.
Then, in the last 2/3 months it has started intermittently dropping and reconnecting Bluetooth. This caused my wireless AA to...
Seems like a valid criticism to me. I didn't realize that there was a hollow channel that ran all the way down the side like that. I agree that it would be the perfect place for salt and other nasty stuff to accumulate.
My Motorola MA1 started occasionally disconnecting and reconnecting. Now it often disconnects and reconnects. I think it is dying. Had it about a year.

Yeah. I really wish I had programmed the spare keys before losing it. That's what I get for procrastinating.
Nice to see a fellow NW Arkansan - with nearly the same truck, too!
Thanks! I'll remember not to use the built in MTC search next time.
Seems scary to have to first erase all programmed keys. Is it possible to lose all access to the truck if I screw up the Forscan procedure. Or can I always use Forscan to regain access?
I've done it. I lost my second key. I think I accidentally threw it in the dumpster 😭 It's long gone.
I've searched here for the guides and requirements to program new keys. I found the manual procedure that anyone with two working keys can do to program an additional key - the ignition cycle...
I would assume, since it deploys from the top of the dash, that the airbag would miss the shelf. However, things placed on it, especially things more than a couple inches tall, would be projectiles.
