  1. 700+ Miles Per Tank Club

The tank before this last one. This was from 7-10-24. Filled up yesterday after joining the 800 club. It's in the related thread.
  2. 800+ miles per tank club!!!

Two tanks ago: https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipP_neYMGxtuOpySbHMXwKwTKSMGxAZg9krCokM6 The last tank: drove around Sam's parking lot in electric til I got to the finish line.
  3. Best 2025 Maverick Color?

Velocity Blue made a comeback after fading away after 2022 so have faith. It could be the replacement for the Space White or Desert sand in MY26.
  4. Best 2025 Maverick Color?

I expect the new colors will be big sellers. The Mrs. has a Ruby Red Edge and it's a very nice color. The Azure Gray ($495 extra) is the only tri-coat. The Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat is the other shade that costs extra ($390).
  5. 2025 Model Battery Update?

As long as you have a 3/36 bumper-to-bumper the battery is covered. My 22' with 20k miles have no CV joint or boot issues. The application started telling me it was disconnected from the truck when I didn't drive it for a day. I think the constant communication (before Ford updated the...
  6. Who is the target market for Ford Maverick

I might be biased by saying I've seen a lot of us Boomers in the truck. Some Millinieals and Gen Z, with 2/3 men. I think the original theory behind a lower profile vehicle appealed to women who didn't want to use the tailgate to access the bed and not have to climb into the cab.
  7. Lasfit Taillight LED Bulbs Review

Since the last set of Lasfits worked so well I'd like to sign up for a notification and purchase replacements once their R&D department finds a solution. Next week will be two years since my purchase. The software updates haven't had any other adverse effects on my truck.
  8. 2025 Lariat - are all exterior lights LED, or are any still incandecent?

Seems like a reasonable option for taillights. I bought a set from Lasfit a few years ago, but they don't carry them in a stand alone or combination package. I installed both taillights, and one of the two third brake lights.
  9. 2025 Order

I bolded quote is the number one reason I prefer a CVT. Ford tweaked the original Toyota model to minimize wear and stress on individual components. I've been in the automotive repair industry on two different occasions and CVT rarely were the root cause of a vehicle's problem.
  10. 2025 Order

I'll bet my Maverick that Long McArthur won't mark up a retail order unless it's refused. I do believe the AWD hybrid demand will initially be through the roof. I person like me who's perfectly happy with a FWD since I don't off road or put my vehicle in a situation where the rear wheels will...
  11. Buyer's remorse on FWD Hybrids?

I think the hybrid's combined 43mpg is a reason a PHEV isn't on a future blueprint. A plug in Escape starts at 40K. The average fuel cost is 950. Fuel on an Active is 1800. The real savings with the escape is trips less than 37 miles. Otherwise you have to keep the vehicle for a long time for...
  12. Incredible Hybrid MPG mileage

Hypermiling= driving like you have no brakes. I keep the engine power usage 10% or less. No quick acceleration. I coast in neutral on downslopes. My last tank lasted six weeks and it was my first time in the 700 club.
  13. Buyer's remorse on FWD Hybrids?

If I wanted to tow more than 2k I would have a Ranger in my garage. I added the hitch for future use and because a truck without one isn't really a truck. People vastly overestimate how much AWD is used. It's primary function is when the other two tires are stuck. An average user encounters...
  14. 🚨 2025 Maverick Debut! Pricing, Tech Specs, Order Guide, Wallpaper Photos, Videos

Since Ford knows the 25' won't make everyone happy you have a until the 8th to order a 24' or pass and let someone else enjoy a new truck.
  15. Transmission fluid check and service, with torque specs (per the Service Manual)

I highly recommend a long stemmed funnel with a vent. The filler opening is short and the leveling plug provides a little venting. Otherwise it's a time consuming process when the displaced air has to find an escape.
  16. Hybrid Transmission Drain and Fill @ 61K Miles

I would extract/drain/manually flush the PTU and transmission every 50k miles. If you tow or use AWD a lot 30k miles is prudent. I would do both at those intervals with synthetic 75w-140 for the PTU and Motorcraft Mercon ULV for the transmission.
  17. New Maverick hybrid battery failure solved (replaced entire hybrid battery "and" bled the (hybrid) coolant fluid, per specifications.)

I'll piggyback this reply with additional information regarding oil life, tire pressure, mileage and location in the Ford Pass application.
  18. Hybrid CONDENSATION (not leak)

I'm glad I found this thread. I had quite a bit of condensation under the middle of my hybrid (warm and humid day) and I didn't have the AC on . I know the high voltage battery has it's own cooling system and it should be leaking. The odorless smell didn't leave me concern, just curious. I was...
  19. 23N06 Customer Satisfaction Program (Hybrid Maverick) - engine long block replacement coverage for 10/100k miles (for DTC P1061 and/or P032F)

I wanted to reiterate the OP's original post that Codes P1061 and/or P032F must be detected before a dealer will replace the long block before the identified vehicle exceeds 10 years or 100k in miles. I'm also glad my local dealer was on top of the details surrounding 23N06. I called about the...
  20. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

I've gotten 600 a few times and did a lot of 50/50 city highway driving. The last tank was mostly city, hypermiling and taking my time. https://photos.fife.usercontent.google.com/pw/AP1GczPw-UZhcFR9TLlrWIRJJn-zB6M9MXuor2UwExTQ4m4mijaEaLmWIDvp=w466-h262-no?authuser=0 Since my first 700 mile tank...
