A software update became available over the weekend for the 2025 models that updated the telematics module. It is supposed to resolve the prolonged outage/sync issues. I'd suggest to everyone with a 2025 that they perform a software update.
Fellow Ontarian here. You're mathing wrong. Very wrong.
CAD$1.48 is USD$1.03, and there are 3.79L in one US gallon... so gas selling for $1.48/L in Canada is actually USD$3.90/gal.
I bought this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007036570196.html
It works great on my 2025 XL. I didn't need to download any drivers. There is no HS/MS switch; in the forscan configuration I had to change the setting to relay mode to get all the modules to load.
Wait… I have a 2025 Hybrid XL, and when I’m travelling at low speeds on electric, I get the synthesized-angels-vox-humana thing. Maybe the regulations are different in Canada?
It sounds exactly like 27 seconds into New Order - Blue Monday:
Gotta do what you've gotta do to stay on the air!
I'm waiting for the darn snow to melt. I bought the bulletproof third brake light antenna mount and I can't wait to install it.
In my 2025 XL I can buckle up before ever turning the key in the ignition, the seatbelt reminder will start green and still remain on for a minute into driving if I don’t click OK. It does this about half the time. Other times it never shows up.
It’s completely unpredictable, but predictably...
This isn’t a head unit problem. It’s a FordPass connectivity problem; ford’s been having problems on their back-end servers for a couple of months. The issues have been most apparent on 2025 models with many people (myself included) unable to connect for days at a time.
Problem usually clears...
Thanks for the reply. I figured as much looking at the exploded parts diagram that it seemed the mounting pins may have been in slightly different places, but you never know with Ford.
I guess I’ll just have to wait for the new RubiGrid. Maybe this stupid *%%^# trade war that the US started...
Five bars of 5G in the driveway; I live in the city.
That’s a terrible reason anyway. Imagine going the subway for an hour and your phone just stopped working completely for three days.
Does anyone know if the 2022-24 dashboard stowage bin (NZ6Z2613546AA) will snap into the 2025 model?
Reason I'm asking is because I want to put in a bulletpoint rubigrid mobile mount. They don't have one for the 2025 yet and may not for a while. Since I lose access to the bin anyway when...
A few folks have mentioned pull fuse 11 for the telematics module. This does nothing. There's no problem with the truck; it's a communications issue with Ford's network.
You just have to wait it out.
I've been shopping for wheels today and trying to find the right ones for my green xl.
And then I found this image and think I might just give up on life instead.
Yeah. Seeing as it's a non-load-bearing part I bent it back into shape. I'll hit it with some rustoleum where the paint flaked off and it's as good as it needs to be.
Now that I've slowed down to actually think about this, the fact that it can be omitted as unnecessary means that it's not critical that I replace it.
Apparantly, its only purpose is to slightly slow down a tailgate theft. It serves no mechanical purpose other than to be in the way.
Well...
The hook piece marked "nz6b-e430c13-ab" seems to be hard to find on its own. Unfortunately, it's also super flimsy and bends if there is the slightest ice buildup underneath the gate.
Did you install a tailgate lock? At least with the mcgard, you throw this piece away. If you still have yours...
I wish I'd seen this thread before I saw the video, because I just cracked the plastic lens on the damn assembly on my 2025. Gotta use those ford points for something, I guess...
