  1. Winter Wheels And Tires - What's Your Setup?

Haven’t had a chance to post much so finally getting around to sharing the winter setup I’ve been running since November. Picked up a set of 17x7.5 RTX Ranch wheels on eBay for winter use. I liked that they looked somewhat ford OEM. And I wanted OEM center bore which had 63.4, didn’t wanna mess...
  2. Speaker Upgrade Options?

Thanks I’m going to order these and with the advice of many just start by doing the front door speakers and see if that’s enough. I appreciate your help.
  3. How To: Maverick Tremor PTU oil change

Wow fantastic information thanks so much for sharing it. What had me thrown for a loop was all the differences with tremor vs fx4/awd and then there was talk of needing some type of additive for the rdu in conjunction with the differential oil, but I take it this isn’t the case correct? Just the...
  4. How To: Maverick Tremor PTU oil change

Thanks for taking the time to put this together. So is the tremor PTU & RDU oils the same as the standard awd/fx4 models?
  5. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor

That’s perfect just what I was looking for. Thanks.
  6. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

Sorry I didn’t see this question. I’m leaning towards spreadsheet inaccuracy. I’ve also seen ford do an integrated build and change parts, the part number suffix bumps for an updated part perhaps this could be playing a role and FORScan software hasn’t caught up to the update yet. I’m not sure...
  7. FORScan Coding to make your 4 inch Cluster look COOLER AND LAUNCH CONTROL

Fantastic find. I wish I could get that on my 6.5” screen. Haha I see you did LC nice. I’m not gonna use it either I’m not sure how long the trans would last. Also cool how the speedo turns red mine doesn’t do that.
  8. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

The blinking is a speed warning that you’re over the limit. Go to settings in your cluster and uncheck speed warning and audible off as well it’ll just turn solid. Interesting that when I coded mine I got the opposite, in USA and I got the European speed limit sign but I like it I’m form Europe...
  9. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

Oh any idea why the road sign recognition shows two? One works as it shows 30 and the other just stays blank any ideas why two are even needed? Here’s a quick photo notice on the right hand of the speedo it’s a blank circle.
  10. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

XLT TREMOR here and yep my checksum numbers are the same as yours it all works fine.
  11. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

I was able to code auto start stop by using easy mode and didn’t use as built, in my case I disabled it in PSCM and BCM and it worked Right now launch control holds about 3000 rpm before the change it was like 1800 and the car wanted to buck. I haven’t really beat on it I just tried it once it...
  12. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

Yeah obd11 is so refined you can do it with your eyes closed. Esys has come a long way but man in the early days it was easy to brick stuff (never happened to me). Like you said we’ve been doing this for years. However I will add this, you are responsible legally to sell the vehicle in oem...
  13. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

Not even the case but you can speculate all you like. Can you brick a module if you aren’t careful? yes, manually by unplugging during re-write like shutting of lap top, losing power to car. Rewriting a module back to oem is peanuts. Brick an ecu and see what happens. Coding has been around...
  14. FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING)

Also wanted to check in and verify that it 100% works on my 2024 XLT tremor. It also took care of my double honk when my key is in the ignition and I exit the truck. Thanks so much for the post it was very helpful. Other things to note that I was able to successfully change/code using...
  15. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor

Thanks for the tip I’m definitely looking for a tonneau cover. I don’t like the rear windows I did 20% all the way and it’s too damn dark over the factory dye. I’m having them strip them down and re do it in 50% ceramic they said that will 95% match to 20% up front. The cab window I like super...
  16. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor

I’m enjoying it quite a bit so far, I find that I really wanna drive it and make excuses to do so, it’s been quite some time since I’ve had a car like that that I actually wanna drive for no reason.
  17. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor

I really love the looks and getting a truck with 28-29mpg capability is a nice plus. Is it a huge difference between your XL and tenor package as far as drive?
  18. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor

Ah ok I see, thanks. I’d like to do the letters for sure.
  19. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor

This is the only one I took when it was getting prepped. It’s a typical XLT interior really.
  20. Took Delivery of My Maverick Tremor
