Actually not , they worked fantastic on the VW tiguan...you need to keep in mind over all size .

Haha 😄, wish bolt pattern would be same cos would try it ...but yes I'm thinking 255s with 35 offset would 🤔 stick out a bit .

Just for fun and size comparison, this is of my VW tiguan that I traded in for the maverick. 255 40 20 , offset 35 ...to bad bolt pattern is not the same cos they would look like dubs lol size wise they are almost same if compared to 235 65 17 tires on maverick.
