    The OP waited 10 months, not so easy to just not buy it, people have a lot invested in this process, how many opportunities do they pass up for other vehicles waiting for the Maverick. I would be furious if this happened to me, f that.. just don’t buy it, it’s worth fighting for.

    My dealer said they were not taking deposits because it was easier for them when a customer cancels, so yeah that’s not always an option

    If Chapman is only getting 25/29 vehicles a month, with over 200 left for the year, it will take 8 months to fill all of the orders, that’s a long time, lots of MY23 roll overs

    What I don’t understand is how a dealer can just up the price of an ordered vehicle $5000, it was a retail order, then use that as a threat if you don’t use they’re financing, I don’t get it. Now e have dealers threatening customers, what a joke, f these dealers!

    Purchase the vehicle, then when you officially have it, tell them you will be filing a complaint with Ford and any where else in order to get the money back that they stolen from you.

    I can’t believe a dealer can Mark up a retail order, that’s your truck not theirs, I think I would of put my fist through that sales person’s face when I saw the mark up, especially the Covid clean, what a joke! That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard yet.

    When I ordered mine I was told there was over 400 orders ahead of me, I don’t know how many they get a month, I doubt it’s more then 20 or 30, at that rate it will take 2 years to get it, crazy.
