all of my installations of aftermarket parts were done by myself, a professional installer so the noise is coming from the hybrid car and not my upgrades.
And
This is the response that makes the most sense. I did move that foam around a bit and didn’t know how to seat it back because didn’t...
It’s not the AC or the pedestrian alert. It only happens when I’m going fast enough for pedestrian alert to not be on. Sometimes during acceleration, sometimes during breaking. I only started to notice it because I had the radio and AC off and realized my ears pick up this noise and it’s really...
2024 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid making this high frequency electrical chirp/hum coming from the front of the car whenever I drive and it turns on and off without rhyme or reason. It’s making me second guess my purchase as I’m seeing other threads that say this is normal. Has anybody had any...
Mabett and they are turn signals. Very cool lights but sadly I’m having the same issues as everybody else and they are holding moisture inside of them. No short circuits yet 🤞 I may drill a small hole in bottom to try to rememdy issue. I wonder what Mabetts response to this is.
My MPG hasn’t changed at all so far. I didn’t spend almost $5,000 on a RTT to take it off. I like the option and the look with it off with just the racks but I plan on keeping it permanent
The install was simple if you have experience drilling through metal. If you don’t then I recommend watching Prinsus 7min install video as a guide. The rack doesn’t come with instructions so unless your mechanical the video is essential. Took me about 2 hours all in. The roof of the maverick is...
Locally it has not but the roof rack actually made my truck more streamlined with my RTT so my hybrid is still averaging 35-42MPG. Haven’t driven on the highway enough to collect data. Am sending it with my lady the first 2 weeks of August and we are boondocking to the West Coast and back so...
Haven’t noticed any noise difference to be honest. Once it’s loaded maybe but I kept the RTT in the back high so I wouldn’t have wind issues when the rack was loaded
Mabett has been a big friend of mine during my build. I have their mudflats, seat covers, side marker lights, and a couple of cab accessaries. Haven’t seen many people with the side marker lights but I assume the wiring for them is incorrect.
