I agree with the bath towel! I used ones made for car seats and they left marks on my seats. The bath towel is by far the best option and you already have it at your house.
I ordered a rough country brand roll up/ soft cover through amazon back in September. It has held up great for being around $200. It is still tight and in great shape. It is kept in a garage and rarely see rain. I was concerned about durability but I like it so far.
I worked at a body shop for a couple years and in the parts department. We got stuff like that all the time. Usually we sent it back because time is a money there. They definitely don’t care about the product they send out, no quality assurance or pride in work. Don’t worry it will only get worse.
I usually take mine off anyway, I believe it keeps the mice from trying to live there. I have a Mazda cx-5 that the mice would try and nest under the cover on it a lot until I took it off. One less home and more likely to move on.
This is the true mpg warrior! All that while getting constant compliments about how good the car looked. Unfortunately sold it after picking up the lobo. I had it for 10 years and just over 100,000 miles. It will be tearing up the asphalt on little fuel for another decade.
Love the red ones for sure, I’m definitely a fan of the plain back glass, looks way cleaner and I can’t think of many times I would open it anyway.
Very nice! I know what I’m saving up for now. Did it come with the lining on the inside of the topper or was that an extra? Carpet really matches the drapes now! Haha
