As previously stated in other threads it is not a maverick it is just to show how it clips over the lip of the door pocket. I think Maxzina is close to development of something close to this, I can't wait to buy it. They are making great aftermarket products for the maverick.
I posted this with pictures on Oct 5 2024 to Maxzina post # 32:
What is needed is a company to make stuff to protect the weakest part of the ford maverick. The plastic inside door sill, the door kick panels, and the pillars where the seatbelt hits when you unbuckle and it retracts. There are...
Over the lip of the door pocket like this, (not my design) fits over the lip then 2 screws to the under bottom of the door panel will keep it in place. Unless you are laying on the floor and looking up you would never see the two screws or the screw holes if you decide to remove it at some...
If it clips over the door pocket lip and has 2 or 3 screws under the door where they would never be noticed it would both stay in place and be easily switched out with no damage. We need this product.
I was looking at the new 2022 frontier pro 4X and the new 2022 maverick lariat FX4, 4K. I never needed a big truck but I do have a ram 1500 and always planned to keep it. I was intrigued with the maverick for some reason and the fact that I had to decide site unseen was out of the norm for me. I...
No it's not a maverick, it is a lower door kick panel protector that Maxzina makes for other model cars. I am asking them to make it for the easily scratched maverick plastic interior lower door kick panel.
Mabett, read the post:
One Word to Describe Your Maverick – What’s Yours?
Many talk about the cheap easy to scratch interior plastic, scratches with a feather, scratches if you look at it the wrong way. I will pitch this until I get someone to make it. I did not see that survey you said you did...
This would be the winning product for front and back lower door kick panels. If it goes over the lip of the door pocket and wraps around the bottom then screws into the bottom where you will never see the screws or the screw holes if you were to remove it in the future would insure it won't come...
I would buy this lower kick pad protector in a heartbeat. If it goes over the lip of the door pocket and wraps around the bottom then screws into the bottom where you will never see the screws or the holes if you were to remove it in the future it won't come off. The design looks awesome. Over...
I tried to get Mabett and Maxzina to make some interior protection to the interior floor sill which Maxzina announced they just did, thank you. Now we need the door lower kick panels, glove box, and the pillar where the seatbelt rides up when you take it off. So far they don't seem to want to do...
Thanks Jeff, I am the only one in the truck right now and I do a make shift cover towels ect. I have another truck I use for my daily. I want to use this truck more, then I will have my wife and grand kids in it. They won't be as careful as me they are all much more relaxed which is a good...
Thanks I tried that it does not stick well for me. I had hoped for a more finished look but I do appreciate your response and your DIY. I was hoping for something that would stick on and could easily be cleaned that wont easily scratch. Maybe I am asking for too much. I remember 45 years ago...
Why is nobody making interior door sill protectors for the inside plastic area as well as the door kick panel and seatbelt pillar. These are some of the plastic interior high scratch areas of the maverick most everyone complains about. There is so many great products for the exterior but nothing...
