Nice!
Sorry I only looked at the install directions: https://performanceparts.ford.com/download/instructionsheets/IS_M-19007-MV.PDF
Didn't see that photo!
I love the looks of the racks.....a..la.. Back to the Future Toyota with KC lights.
I just don't understand the bars all the way down the side? (Maverick Marketing: "hey out bed sits low to the ground so you can lean over and grab things from inside the bed")
☝so much for that
As a new truck owner, are there any smarter options for "temporary" shade than a hitch mounted umbrella?
Love the look of the soft topper but would love something more pop up and less permanent. 🤷♂️
Curious what others have done.
Same thing for me too, was pretty sure it was just the "stickiness" of the windshield in the Intermittent mode when they are kept in the "at attention" position and not parked down in the cowl.
Kind of annoying but not a deal breaker. Curious to find a long term Polish/Cleaning solution.
Honestly I don't track MPG religiously. I drive 50miles a day commute and I'm averaging 39mpg over 3-4k miles.
Not sure how the tires will impact i'm sure negligible 1-2mpg. For me the year round capability, in the wet and in seasonal snow is worth it.
I finally made it happen this weekend. I tried the spray method with plasti-dip but ended up with a subtle edge and protection.

I wanted a fender edge protector from rock chips and road debris. (APOLOGIES IT RAINED THIS MORNING)
Two-Steps
1: I painted the very edge and inside with plasti dip in a can the original dip style, I tried painting from a spray can with tape and a wet edge and wasn't the best. I could go back...
Installed at Discount Tire.
I actually bumped them up to 40psi since more of the "tread" seamed to be laying down on the pavement at lower psi, then again the installed pressures where all over the board.
I may lower them back to the 35psi the truck suggests and see.
EDIT (060223) POLL CLOSED, FINAL VERDICT BELOW!
'23 hybrid XLT.
I opted to go with the 225/65/17 Nitto nomad grappler in replacement for the conti factory tires.
I live in the snow belt so 3 peak means something to me, I like the look, but was also looking for more (bump and pothole soaking...
SIDE NOTE...
If you decided to use stick on style rubber flares, that ADHESION PROMOTER stuff goes a LONG WAY!
Adhesion promoter from 3M came with the FORD parts spoiler. You apply it to the paint first and holy cow does it make the 3M tape stick to the paint!
