Hopefully, in the end, the Maverick proves out to be great value. It's utility and price versus all other things I think will be great for many people. Especially coming at a time with high inflation and recession fears and also the car market itself is shifting toward Electric vehicles.

I like this looks although I may go with the black rim wheels and also add the black rear spoiler. The right amount of black with the silver looks awesome!

I like the bug deflector on the silver hood. Not sure how many bugs it deflects but I think the dark color on the long silver hood makes it awesome. Similarly, the rear spoiler may also look good for the same reason.

Apparently the Escape was the first to have this feature . If you look at the related videos it states there is a heating element in the glass.

Additional information I found is that that Ford lists this as Windshield Wiper DeIcer. This also could be a heating element at the bottom of the windshield.
