I would recomend turning off your auto start/stop system. There is a rich condition every time the car is started do to the high fuel pressures in the direct injection system.

Make sure you get the right windshield. The Lariat has a heated windshield for the wipers and sound proofing its more then the normal windshield.

XLT is still under 30K where are you going to find something that cheap! They could have bought a F150 for 60K then what would you say?

If you put HVAC system to max defrost the engine will start after 30 seconds or so to warm up the coolant you can let it run in your driveway before you take off

Some fuses are just for memory they are not the same fuses to make them turn on. Just A thought.

Does anyone know who actually makes the hard Tri fold cover for ford? I ordered it on my 22 mav. but not on my 23 due to restraints and wanting it built. B ut I love to find the one that the factory uses but not at the factory prices. Any I deas? Thanks!

It seems to me that most of the complaints are coming from XL & XLT because the lariat has better sound deading and better windshield and a better sound system and it,s the only one with the full sync system and of course I saw a complaint about a key which the Lariat desn't have.

As long as you use a decent oil and filter you can go anywhere that provides good service to you.

I would never go over 10,000 miles on a oil change! I change mine ever 5k you will have a oil consumption problem around 100,000 miles if if wait that long. I'm a 40 Year ASE Master Technician as well as a Ford Instructor.
