I never noticed any substantial sound when I still had the stock airbox on mine. I have the Buschur's intake now and it's pretty noticeable. I would imagine there is some noise making it through the stock airbox.
It might be a legit warranty invalidation but they need to be able to tell/show you how the modification caused the issue. There have been known issues with the Hybrids dying, multiple people on here have reported it.
I'd be willing to bet the gas engine has the same HP numbers, it's the electric motors that are different probably because it's a heavier vehicle. The AWD model is nearly 1000lb heavier than a Maverick.
I'd start with making sure the back seat is latched in place (the back, not the seat part). Mine was not latched when I got mine and the seat would lean forward a little then slam back when I came to a stop. The latch point is on the passenger side which is probably why it sounds like it's from...
If it's a vinyl wrap or a spray wrap and it's done well, you can't really tell while it's driving down the road. I doubt someone repainted a brand new truck unless it got wrecked and they just decided to change the color.
Edit: On second thought, another possibility is it's a fleet vehicle that...
13 hours of driving and 199 miles, that's a lot of low speed stop-and-go city driving I take it right? That gas mileage looks about right to me. The ecoboost begs for the beans so if you have a heavy foot like me that's probably part of the problem. If you want to milk as much out as you'd...
Who knows, but will probably sell quick. I declined one of the two Mavs I ordered and it only took 2 days for it to disappear from the dealer's website (with a markup I'm sure). Dealers will keep selling at a markup as long as people keep buying them with a markup.
After 5 months, I finally started upgrading the audio. I installed the Hertz 2-way coaxials for the doors and a set of Memphis Street Reference tweeters to replace the OEM dash "tweeters". Couldn't be happier with the results. Less bass than the OEM speakers but far better and more crisp mids...
^^what he said...
That being said, production time for 22MY varied a lot depending on what you ordered. I ordered a very simple XLT with no packages or bed liner and mine was built 2 months after I placed my order but there are people who ordered Hybrid Lariat LUX/360 months before me who...
This problem began immediately after the Ford dealership installed new lighting? Something is likely not wired correctly is my guess. I'd take it back to the dealership.
Would have added the sunroof, everything else the same. If the power sliding rear window had been an option outside of the lux package I would have added that too but I had no use for a manual sliding rear window.
