I had a similar issue and so did others. My window was stuck up. Driver's switch sends too many volts and causes issues with the regulator and possibly the motor. It's good that you replaced the driver switch as that should prevent other windows from failing. If the motor is still making sounds...
UPDATE: FIXED
I bought the regulator, motor, and driver switch online and had a mechanic friend help me replace them. The cables in the old regulator were bent up an out of place. It did appear that I was having the same issue as others, in that the driver switch was sending too much voltage to...
No
both switches cause the same noise but donāt move the window. Iām considering changing the driver switch because Iāve elsewhere that it can cause these problems.
A couple of weeks ago my LEFT REAR (drivers side passenger) window stopped rolling. At first, it was sluggish and kind of loud, then it got completely stuck. Thankfully, it is stuck closed, so I haven't been in a rush to fix it. When I press the window button down, the door still makes a sound...
UPDATE:
Took it back to the dealer and they we able to fix it pretty quickly. One of the warranty repairs was to replace a drive line that connects behind the dash and steering wheel. Tech said a grommet wasn't properly in place which allowed sounds to get though that normally don't. So the...
I have a 2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid with 30K miles. I took it to the dealer 2 weeks ago to get a few recalls done and to fix a "Shift SYS Fault" service alert. They replaced the shift knob to fix they shift fault.(apparently a common problem) I got 3 or 4 recalls done, including side air bags and...
1 Year ago I acquired my 2022 Hybrid XLT Alto Blue Maverick. The options it has are Lux Package, moodroof, Copilot 360, and rubber mats. I did not order my Mav, I got lucky and found it as incoming dealer stock, and paid $1000 over MSRP. Overall, I think it was a steal.
Some thoughts and...
I was willing to get an Ecoboost if I couldn't find a Hybrid, but thankfully I didn't have to settle. The Hybrid has performed better than I expected. It has enough getup for me. The only reason I would get an Ecoboost is if you feel you need AWD and/or that 4k tow package.
Thankfully, mine jump started quite easily, but that is the only way it would start. I got it to the dealer Friday and am waiting for them to get a chance to look at it.
I love my Maverick, and until yesterday I have had no issues.
Last night I got into the truck, turned the key, and nothing happened. Screen black, no sounds, and the automatic locks didn't even work.
I jumped it with my wife's Jetta. The Maverick immediately woke up when I connected the jumper...
I think I just figured it out. My foot was on the break so that's not the issue. I think it's just going into battery mode. The ignition is finicky. If you don't turn it all the way and hold it long enough you'll end up in battery mode. I should have thought of that, but I've been used to push...
