If they did that to you, do you really think they will try to “find” you one if someone backs out of their hybrid order??? Get your money and go to another dealer. we missed the hybrid order cutoff date by about a week…. So we just decided to order the EB and go with it for now.

And we missed the cut off date to order a hybrid by about a week. Now we have to wait until Aug 16, 2022 before we can order one and start the waiting game for a 2023 Maverick… unless a dealer can get one that someone ordered then changed their mind…

If everyone would just walk away from any dealer that marks them up over msrp eventually that will get the hint and stop doing it, but, if people keep paying it, they will keep doing it. Just my $0.02 worth.

Any good hardware store should have them. Just need to know what size threads they are. I am thinking probably metric as most everything is nowadays.

Well, after missing the order deadline, and search daily in numerous states, calling/emailing/texting numerous dealers who show in stock, I found one in stock, same color we were originally looking for. We are scheduled to go see it tomorrow, test drive, paperwork etc… almost to much to believe...

What size tap did you have to use? I am assuming probably a metric one…

I found a dealer website that showed several Mavericks “in stock”, one of which was what I wanted to order. So I called and was told none of them are in stock and when I questioned why it showed in stock, I was told that Ford does their listings…

Here is a dealer reply when I inquired about one they showed in stock and I called him out on it… If you'd like, one of my customers is selling their Hybrid Maverick for $60,000 if you aren't interested in waiting until next year.
