  1. Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego hits it out of the park

Good for you! and why do we always “cut” a check....
  2. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

This is a bit disappointing. I think we all “assumed“ the numbers trajectory would be more positive. Does not bode well at this point.
  3. Titus-Will Ford in Tacoma sold my truck to someone else

My question is How will they make this new truck appear-sell you some one else’s ordered unit…🤔 i hope it works out (and I would not compromise on anything).
  4. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

Yep. the order number is not your relative place in line for Maverick. It is just an “order number”.
  5. Frankfort Ford stole my Maverick

Sorry this occurred, but as noted “coulda, shoulda, woulda” just taken it and paid it off the next day...
  6. Just put on 2003 Mustang GT Bullitt wheels / rims... Yay or nay?

I’m surprised the offset is correct for a front wheel bias. I like the wheels style (classic) but agree with others that a reduction in rake would improve IMHO.
  7. What the Hail!

Several years ago my wife got stuck on the interstate in her Lexus with a big Oklahoma hail deluge. Pretty dinged up. PDR removed 100% and no evidence remained. and 100% insurance-covered.
  8. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

Just a suggestion to all: if you have specific transaction details to discuss with Granger, you may consider just contacting them off line.
  9. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

I deserved that. I knew I should‘ve put a bit of context in that post. All of us waiting souls would be a bit less obsessed with this Maverick thing if we do other things and then get a surprise when they arrive. none the less, with 12 posts, you probably don’t fall into that category. be well.
  10. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

probably the best thing is to stay of this forum and wait for the delivery email.
  11. June Maverick Production — 10,000+ Units

What‘s the hurry? $6k. Wow. Not a 356 Porsche or Ferrari GTO California.
  12. June Maverick Production — 10,000+ Units

According to the information that has been passed on, the allocation method does not apply to ordered Maverick vehicles. If there is an order in the system by the cut-off dates it will be built (within constraints) for MY22. Once built it will be shipped and sold. If your dealer ordered 10...
  13. SHAME on Smith Ford, of Washington NJ. Full Series of events.

Sorry this happened. If you go and get your deposit back, then they have won. I *would* take all the documentation with you in person and calmly reach a resolution to your benefit. Otherwise they will happily be empowered to continue in their abusive practices
  14. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

IF (big assumption) the latest Ford information mail is true, AND (another assumption) the orders were cut off based on the ability to produce the total during MY 22, THEN the typical allocation method is irrelevant. Using these assumptions all vehicles currently in queue have a destination...
  15. Maverick is #2 and #6 Most Price Marked Up Vehicle (Over MSRP)

Not clear is what this represents: the % of those vehicles that were sold above MRSP or the % above MSRP the vehicle sold. I would favor the former, but it that is speculative. I find it a bit surprising that a Porsche Macan would be that high on such a list-it is the highest volume Porsche...
  16. 2.0L AWD Tow Package MPG

A lot of variables in the gas mileage calculus. 10% ethanol mix will average less due to less BTUs in ethanol verses gasoline. Also, even though the turbo engines will adjust timing for lower octane the mileage will be a bit lower than using higher octane in most cases. Winter blend usually...
  17. My Ford Maverick 1 Week Review

idle thought for those with hybrid vehicles that use them mostly for in-town and short trips and may find themselves having a tank of gas last an extended length of time. Do you use ethanol free gas or add stabilizer If using 10% blend? (This may not be as big of a deal as in those hybrids with...
