you can use the same light wire that you used there, truck light power the relay on and off and then the relay turn the lightbar on using battery power. the lighbar may draw 1, 2, maybe 5 amp directly from the battery but a regular 12 volt/30 amp relay will draw under 0.150 amp on the truck...
there is no such thing as canbus on incandescent lightbulb, what most people refer to canbus is in fact a PWM (pulse-widht modulation) this system is used to extend life of the bulb. it's true that it can cause problem with other type of light like led and lightbar. but if your problem is that...
i finally found a clip of the AFE exhaust. not bad and i do like the exit on the right side in front of the wheel.
unfortunately, i also think this exit on the right side won't be a good things here in canada during the winter
i am interrested to add a little sound to my maverick but not really interrested in performance upgrade or price of a whole exhaust system. do anyone have a video of the sound of that, please feel free to share it, thanks
interresting to read this. i have 40 years old and i'm a technician/mechanics/team chief for a aerial ladder manufacturer in QC, canada. basicaly i build bucket truck.
before the maverick i was driving a ram 1500 si i'm used to the dial shifter since a long time. but the one thing i can't get used to is the location of the shifter. i think the center console is way to low for this kind of shifter. imagine if you need to put it quick in neutral for any reason...
ford don't have enough parts to build the new maverick, wait for parts to repair the wrecked one will cost too much money and will be way too long. and it's a unibody, small damage outside might hide big problem under, we can't tell that on these picture
mine is a ecoboost fx4, my splashsheild is a steel skidplate. i think when i'ill get there i will cut and fabricate a trap with an hinge. a little more work that will save a lot of time in the future
it is an innovation because it allow to add safety feature like shifting automaticaly to park if you open a door while moving (might be to neutral if going too fast, i never checked) might be annoying if you try to open a door to back up a trailer but a nice feature when you have kids... before...
to get my maverick i gave back a ram 1500 with the v6 3.6l. my maverick (2.0 ecoboost) feel quicker and way lighter then the ram. i won't go back on that trade (even more now that the gas price increase here in canada). as long as your aware that the maverick can't be compared to the raptor it...
