  1. Livernois tuning for 2.0 Maverick is coming

Sometimes it's stored directly on the handheld, depending on the model, but usually it's just a file you store on a PC. I bought a cheap netbook for storing tunes. Either way, hook the handheld up to the OBD port, load the tune, then disconnect. Going back to stock is the same process. Only...
  2. Tire weight - how much does it matter?

You can tell the difference between 5lbs of unsprung weight off each corner in regular city driving? Do you kick passengers out because they make the car an undrivable pig? If you're looking to shave a tenth or two off at Summit Point, sure go ham, take out the spare, the back seat, get the...
  3. Tire weight - how much does it matter?

In a street car? Not much at all.
  4. Do people flock to your Maverick?

No, but I'm also ugly. Win/win?
  5. Laggy, glitchy Sync System

I was hoping I could just do a software update/reflash myself, like you can with SYNC. Doesn't look like those files are available though.
  6. Laggy, glitchy Sync System

My (non-sync) radio was having similar issues. Hitting the presets would change the stations just fine, but the tune dial was so slow to respond it usually just reverted to the current station, same with the seek buttons. Punching in a station with direct tune didn't do anything. Reset didn't...
  7. Buschur's got a 2022 Maverick! 2.0 Dyno Results / Numbers, MPG, and Review!

Livernois has Bronco Sport tunes, so I expect they'll be one of the first big names to have something out for us. Kinda surprised Cobb didn't do much with the 2L ecoboost outside the old Fusion.
  8. Bullet Liner sprayed on my XLT Maverick bed

Doesn't show the Ford Logo on the back of the bed either. They may have changed the design down the line.
  9. Bullet Liner sprayed on my XLT Maverick bed

Photo for comparison purposes. The shadows and the black don't help, but coverage to the end of the bed looks the same as yours. Overall thickness seems the same too.
  10. Measurement of lift point and wheel spread for QuickJack lift.

The pinch weld is exposed pretty much the length of the underside so there's a bit of wiggle room. Obviously don't move far enough in from the marked points to unbalance the thing, but there's decent space to move the blocks around on the quickjack that you should be ok.
  11. Measurement of lift point and wheel spread for QuickJack lift.

It's a little weird under there. There's a pinch weld that runs pretty much the length of the truck, so you're going to need some adapter blocks for your jack. With wider blocks I'm wondering if the plastic sill under there will need to come off before lifting the truck. Measuring from the...
  12. Floor mats!? Factory vs aftermarket?

Just got my Weathertech mats in. $75 shipped. They make bigger ones that cover the carpet towards the console, but can't complain too much for the cost.
  13. Bullet Liner sprayed on my XLT Maverick bed

Really the most important part was when I went to the shop. "What kind of truck is it?" "Ford Maverick." "What is that?"
  14. Bullet Liner sprayed on my XLT Maverick bed

I'm still not sure if whatever Ford put on top of the tailgate counts or not.
  15. FX4 Suspension shock absorbers - what brand / manufacturer?

There's no branding that I could see, but there's a plastic boot covering the top half of the shock It looked pretty generic overall. Barcode and serial numbers didn't return anything. My phone couldn't pick up that QR code.
  16. FORD Requiring Non-refundable Deposits?

Absolutely not. That is strictly a dealer thing.
