I was told at the time of my order (in June) that any incentives or rebates available would be those in effect at the time of purchase. Right now my delivery is estimated May 5-11, so it's whatever might be available at that time.
Playing the game with EXISTING Ford colors...
Drop:
1. Cyber Orange
2. Alto Blue
3. Hot Pepper Red
Add:
1. Eruption Green
2. Kona Blue or Midnight Sapphire
3. Rapid Red (available on all models)
And for those fans of purple I'm seeing, there is a Ford color called Mischievous Purple (aka...
Over time, production processes do improve. Even specific parts undergo changes (revisions) that improve quality. A Maverick built at the end of MY22 will theoretically have many of the initial bugs worked out from the start of the model year.
Also the Hermosillo Plant itself was named best...
Finally my June order of a Hybrid XLT with Luxury Package was scheduled yesterday (2/10) for the production week of April 11. Frankly, after all this time it feels great to just have a production date for my "June-icorn" 🦄🦄🦄.
What's weird is that I received an email at 8:05 PM tonight (Friday...
FINALLY! It is possible! Hang in there everybody...
⏰ Time email was received: 12:00 PM Eastern
📅 Your scheduled build week: April 11
🛻 All relevant build info: Iconic Silver / Hybrid / XLT / Luxury Package
📍 Your region, if comfortable: Detroit, MI
🗓 Your original order date: June 25
Thanks for taking the time to make this. (y)
As far as the available data goes, looks like I'm the only one in Michigan with this build.
I've started to see a few Mavericks on the streets around here, but it's looking more and more like I've ordered a unicorn. Now if I can just get...
Looks great. I definitely appreciate a super clean look like that.
I'm still waiting for a build date on my Iconic Silver, but I was thinking about doing something similar. I think it was a rendering I saw somewhere, but it had a crossbar WITHOUT the Ford logo on it. I think a plain crossbar...
Several firsts for me:
- First "First Year" vehicle.
- First Ford.
- First pickup or truck of any kind.
- First hybrid.
- First time pre-ordering a vehicle.
- First time making a purchase decision on a vehicle without a test drive.
- First vehicle to APPRECIATE in value when I drive it off the...
No luck for my June 25 order of a Hybrid XLT Lux.
... and I just found out that for 2022 Chevy will FINALLY offer a Silverado regular cab short bed ...
... not that I would cancel my order, but when the one you want plays hard to get you're going to start looking elsewhere. 😜
Not a misunderstanding, but more of a disappointment. I was surprised when I realized that the XLT Lux I was leaning towards has an actual key you have to insert and turn to start the truck.
No push button start unless you get the Lariat.
Kind of funny. If the sub 8 second numbers coming out are accurate, the Hybrid Mav is right about the same 0-60 as my current Mazda 3 Sport. It's not the fastest thing around but certainly not terrible. And it's pretty amazing from a pickup truck that weighs 1000 pounds more and can...
Oh yeah I understand the reasoning behind it, but on some level it just hit me that Ford is putting all the panels where most people will never see them, but leaving the engine naked.
Maybe it's because this is my first Ford and I'm just used to seeing engine covers on modern vehicles even if...
Interesting video. I might be the only one to think this way but I find it odd that there are so many underbody panels yet NO engine cover whatsoever. 🤔
Nice color. I definitely considered it. If I had more time/energy to wash and detail my vehicle, and if I didn't live in a Northern climate with salty roads, I might have gone with Alto instead of Iconic Silver.
There's a lot of buzz around the Rivian but I actually think the Maverick will win.
And I'm not just saying that because mine hasn't been scheduled yet and I'm hoping this earns me some mystical Ford karma.
Yeah this video is TERRIBLE. The little bit that I could tolerate consisted of him screaming GUYS! followed by a bunch of nonsense and misinformation. Style and substance both 0/10. 🚮
And if you don't have anxiety, you will after watching this video.
When they built the Fusion there, buyers were not finding snow, but um, tightly packed bags of grass clippings in the spare tire well of the car. Funny how those things happen in a desert climate.
