I'm still half convinced it is due to flash rusting on these rotors. Take a gander on a humid day. These rotors rust quick. I have the same hum noise as I reverse and apply light brakes first thing in the morning.
I am curious how the parking brake works. Does it apply one brake pad or is it a...
I've been flirting with a Breezer Window for a while now. I think the cost/bezel is a bit of a bummer but so is the small opening in the OEM/Aftermarket solution here. https://breezerwindows.com/product/ford/
Quick follow up-
So they took my truck back in, screwed in the drain plug all the way, filled up ATF, and ripped/replaced the underskirt body protector which which was soaked in ATF.
I reached back out to have them replace the fender felt lining as it was soaked in ATF, as well schedule to...
Don't over think it. I'm going to spray liner once I beat up the bed a bit more.
The hard cover will remove the need to strap things down but should still think about how things will roll in the bed as you take sharp turns at speed.
I use this Hitch Mounted Bed Extender. You can typically keep...

It WAS leaking. Service manager reported back, said it was a loose "line pressure bolt" and lost a quart and 1/2 of ATF.. Refunded. Replaced underskirt. Clean driveway. Should come to an end tomorrow. Shall remain optimistic.
I found this thread and a few other comments that had me convinced to do it early. I'm not constantly towing but I am using it in my own way so I want to keep her going good.
Unfortunately I didn't notice right away and probably drove a good 50 miles.
The spot you are seeing is from a previous park job. Shoulda taken a photo of the under skirt.. dang.
Yeah no issues before bringing it for regular maintenance.
At first I thought it was an oil leak which led me to compare fluid colors and reveal it was the transmission. All of it was pooling then dripping from the under skirt which wasn't worth removing since Ford just sends a tow truck and...
Just wanted to give a heads up to those who get service to check for leaks before you leave the lot. I'm fuming and curious what I can expect as a sorry from Ford.
They won't be able to get me a rental till Monday though am I even able to get a refund on my transmission flush?
I've had this happen before when I went in for service, I would suggest you run through the instructions again and you'll most likely find a setting reverted.
