My wife has been wanting a new couch for decades , I've stalled with all sorts of excuses .
My last excuse was we had a loan on the Maverick ( Ford ZERO % for 36 months ) .
Well ......the Mav is now paid off , she caught me in a good mood , so now we have a new couch ....AND new carpet .... 😖
I'm old , and love tangents .....how about this one .
My High School sweetheart !
She was hand painted by me , had the Red Ram Hemi , 3 speed with overdrive . I blew it up ....
Oh , and my girlfriend was cool too ....
Me and one of my many VW's , from back in the day ....enough rust holes I guarantee it wouldn't float ....🤣.....swiggin' Falstaff Beer ....
Those were the days .....
Like someone mentioned , the trailer probably has surge brakes .
Without those brakes I feel your trip down the northern side of the Grapevine would have harrowing to say the least ....😳
The old VW's had the battery under the back seat . No vent tube ...no explosions ...no poisoning ....well .....the gas fumes from the front gas tank could poison you , and also the burning oil and exhaust fumes with the heater on didn't help any ......😆
If I remember , VW Beetles , back in the day had their batteries under the back seat , no vent tube ....no explosions ....no poisoning ....
A pain in the butt to jumpstart though .
My original battery is now over 3 years old.
I have a lithium jump starter under the seat which I've never used .
That's all you need for peace of mind ( and don't forget to recharge it every several months .
I attach a small solar charger under the hood when I'm away for weeks at a time ...
Yes , there were a little of insults being hurled back and forth for months , but his vulgarity at the end seemed like he wanted to commit Forum Suicide ...which he did ...
Now , AMEN ....
And happy Vets Day !
The OP's first threads back in the summertime would ramble on and on about how uncomfortable the Maverick seats were and he would mention many vehicles he drove and owned that were SO much more comfortable , and yet he would get all defensive about being overweight and push back against...
Well...we all tried to help " the OP" in question a zillion times , he prefered to go off track and not take anyone's advice or opinions .
I hope he finds his " perfect" vehicle , one HE feels comfortable with .....AMEN ....
