Lol, yep. I think I was the 1st to order this and experienced the same thing. I thought they had corrected this after lengthy emails to them about this. The bracket you ate struggling with is the bracket for the EGR. It will not fit back on with that version of the spacer without modifying it...
If no one comes out with a proper adjustable upper control arm similar to the SPC...I will make a plan to measure, blueprint and build my own lower adjustable control arms like these. These are almost 100% what the AWD Maverick needs
Yeah 12k/16k is absolutely way to much for a daily driver. Ironically with me, it was the fronts that were were I noticed the bounciness. I could be washing the truck and push down on the front end and it rear wouldn't move like a normal compression or rebound but when I took my hands off it has...
Imho, these trucks need 8k springs up front and either 8k or 6k in the rear to ride exceptionally well.
The Silvers are 10k and 8k... not sure what the Scales standard spring rates are but with the LOW iirc the spring rates were 12k and 10k!
Sorry to hear this. I guess the trend continues... :(
Which version? Bouncy up front or rear or both?
Here was my fix from the Scales Low version.....
Silvers-Na
This is the way I've always done mine...in my mav when I upgraded to a nav apim and in my 21 F150 single cab when I upgraded from the 8" screen to the 12" screen. Hope you get it worked out
Did you perform a master reset on the apim by pressing and holding the radio power button and the forward seek button at the same time until the screen goes black and then releasing?
Well, you know...im a performance junkie and was told that a larger DP wouldn't do anything for performance....but
Nah, I confirmed this 1st when I called Eibach and got into a somewhat heated conversation with someone in there
Yeah if you are replacing tires this often...your toe is off...
It's because they don't work for all Mavericks..especially lowered. The are SPC arms that I believe I installed 1st and later reported the issue with them making contact with the frame. From what I understand... NOW they were able to duplicate the same issue using lowering springs and the oem...
Yeah I know what you mean. I had the H&R Escape springs on before and though the truck rode really nicely, that extra lil wheel well gap in front drove me crazy.
I was talking with @Volknuts and how nice it would be if someone like Maxtrac came out with drop spindles. That would be pretty...
Just now my new Silvers-NA arrived. Very excited to try these out. They are their normal version. These will replace my Scales low version which have, imho, a horrible ride quality due to the front being way to bouncy no matter how they are adjusted.
The Silvers look fantastic! The Scales...
While I agree, as a small business owner, the kinds of calls recieved daily by a tech line is not an excuse to turn off active listening and turn of arrogance. This is my experience. I get it they are human, but they accepted that job as a tech. They owe each and every call their very best...if...
Thanks for the honesty. I wasn't going to say this... but in keeping true to myself, when I spoke with a few people at Eibach when I called, the 1st person was attentive and listening to what I was saying and asking. When he transferred me to a tech things changed. He was a bit arrogant and...
I guess maybe I should have clarified this a lil better. I never said they didn't work....I was STRICTLY speaking to coilover setups as I previously had H&R springs before going with coilovers
