This review touches on the key points of why the Maverick is a hit, it’s just the right balance of what most people need. There’s plenty of compromises if you’re coming from more lux cars (seat comfort in my case!) but then you factor in the utility and the Hybrid option, absolute no brainer...

@tjtpilot really like the setup, especially the clamp on rails (I rather not drill!!!). Can you specify what modifications you made to the rails and crossbar? The rails seem to only come in 72” from what I’m seeing. Thanks and congrats on the great setup! edit: looks like the rails are...

@mw_maeve can’t tell, but is that an LED step or chrome accent in the grill crossbar (the grill part connected to the Ford emblem)? edit: do you also have your DRLs turned off for the picture? I’m curious how it looks with the DRL and the LED strip

I also agree, insane mpg isn’t impressive unless it’s done over time, 50 miles minimum but I’m thinking a better baseline is 100 miles minimum. here’s my best sustained high mpg from last month

serious post: I’m thinking of just leaving an old iPhone plugged in, I’m guessing for your needs a rooted android could suffice and probably can find an older pixel so you can do what you’re looking to do for the price of some of these dongles. Would still have to use your phone as a hotspot though.
