Thanks Jman, that’s why I posted this. There is an entire generation that has missed the mini truck craze since no one was making them. Everyone was fixing up their trucks in the 70s. That’s why I love the Mavericks! So much you can do to customize them to look badass.

I loved having my 1974 Datsun pickup back in high school. I have so many fun memories of fixing it up with my friends. Post your pics if you have any of your mini truck!

I also have 235/60/18 and love the look and the ride even with it lowered. Fits about ride at 9.3” wide.

I can’t figure out this Hybrid mystic. There are a lot of posts about a lot of problems but whenever someone asks about buying a hybrid it becomes the best truck in the world. Which is it? Why chance it for the few more miles per gallon on compared to the Eco?

most other vehicles are just transportation, Maverick trucks are special and you obviously love it which is why you are concerned. Put the negative posts aside and just drive it and enjoy it. If it blows up, then you get to buy a new one!!

I agree and would’ve gone with Craiger’s had they made something that fit but I went with five spoke look to get as close as I can

Oh no , chrome goes with any color, black, white, hot pepper red, blue, silver, charcoal grey, and even cyber orange. Everyone seems to be stuck on black which I can’t understand. Not sure if people think it’s easier to keep clean?

Agree, they just don’t make anything close enough to work with the 5x108 bolt pattern.

Hi Steve, I went with 18” wheels on 235/60 tires for 2 reasons, I think 18” scales better to the Maverick and it is a better ride than going with 20” wheels. I had another Maverick with 20”s and the ride is softer with the 18s. You won’t have a problem.

About the same as the original 17s but softer than having 20s which I had on my previous Mav.
