For the first time I was camping in Assateague Island National Seashore which known for its wild horses when I spotted a Maverick XLT FX4 in Alto Blue, this only the forth Maverick I’ve seen in the wild. So I pulled up for a cameo shot, the owner said he loves his Maverick like the majority of of us who’ve gotten the opportunity to get behind the wheel. He said it just check so many boxes when it come down to his needs. While was there talked with a guy who said that my Maverick was the first he’d in person, he drove a F250 that was getting 12MPG wondering about the Maverick’s mileage, I told him I easily bested him pulling my 16 FT camper trailer with 19.6 MPG and without trailer over 26 MPG combined. Four days later I spotted a 5th Maverick in the wild in Area 51 in Costco parking lot. I’ve seen more horses in the wild than Maverick’s.
