Maverick Old Farts

I assume 73 is old enough to be a old fart.if not ,just kick me out

my 2022 xlt will probably be my last new vehicle for a while and sure is nice!at least thats what my wife of 54 years said.

Pushing 87 hard (Feb 1st), I suspect I'm not the oldest, but not a freshman. Cught the fever for a Maverick last summer, found a '23 Lariat Hybrid in San Diego to tow behind my motorhome. Paid far too much for it, but it's a great "baby truck"!

@PapaRed just got my 24 XLT Lux pkg. love the truck, paid too much as dealer shoved the deal and I never saw the msrp. Now lost my job and may sell. I owe $39k. 1260 miles. Turn 72 tomorrow

I bought mine used but wanted one since seen the concept photos paid more than I should have. But it was worth it to me. @PapaRed

Thought I might as well join up with you guys. I have a 24 XLT EB LUX AWD, etc on order since 09/05/23, just got a Ford message that it was built yesterday, 12/12/23, awaiting shipment. Hoping to get it before Christmas, but doubtful. I
am really excited about getting my Mav. Also hoping I am not the oldest with birthdate of Feb 1934. That may scare some of you, but I have to accept it and too busy to check out.
