Age: I'm a vet, post Vietnam, pre Gulf. So no one ever shot at me.
Income: My kids are grown, through college, and out of the house.
You don't know how much kids cost...until they're gone.

So I can by a Maverick cash. Could buy a much more expensive car cash but this little truck (Hybrid) appeals to my environmental sensibilities while supporting my hobbies. And I still have a 175HP motorcycle for when I want to piss other people off.

In summary, not Ford's target demographic. Just spill-over like a lot of other people on this forum.
Thanks Much for your service!!!!!!!!

Howdy Capt, M Spec. I am "Fred The Medic" (we couldn't use our real names as we didn't want our mommies to see our capture or death on the 6 pm news). Carried sniper rifle mainly because after losing 2-3 carrying it nobody else would touch it, I told my Capt I would take it until he could find someone else. Loved it when he called out and said "Doc give that guy a shot" (about 900 yards away). I was Nam 9/67-9/68. Front line whole time. Charmed never scratched. Bunch close & months without seeing wheeled vehicle.
Roger your last! Your Brothers welcome you home!!!!!!! I'm 68 to 70.

A little touchy today, I was trying to bring a little humor to your thread.

Evidently no one bothered to Google STI, M Spec

My son had a STI  NO NOT the Google one, a blue 1 when they were ALL blue he did all the bolt on, software. I took him for a test ride power shifted 1 - 2 :cry:,I thought he was going to climb out!
He said " maybe I should have told you I just had hemroid surgery" we still laugh about it.

Here are a couple of my sporty cars.

After some of the, shall we say hateful, responses I received maybe I am. Sorry I missed the humor part. But to move on and not hold a grudge (I'm way too old for that)...I love the 914! Had a yellow one 2.0 They are very fun to drive, after you learn how to keep them between the lines (as you know doesn't take much steering input) I also had the Honda l see hiding. An SI version actually, in white. Thank you for clarifying your post...I appreciate it. Please see my 2005 STI I posted to Showcase (can't find pics of my blue 2010 or the 911)

Take a Chill Pill..... I think many are reverting to sarcasm because of their understandable frustration with the delivery delay(s)..... Have the Greatest of Days!!!!!
No offense meant, but If the tacky responses I received were simply due to delivery delays then somebody needs to put on their big boy pants and get over it. Some of the folks that have posted the most courteous posts have been shoot at while wearing the uniform of this country ... myself included. There is really no good excuse for rudeness. I see a vast distance between sarcasm and rudeness. Sarcasm can be quite clever the other stuff not so much. Again, I mean no disrespect here and I thank you for taking the time to post. Please stay safe and well.
