My sales guy is awesome.

Truck was built week of 1/23, expected delivery was 5-6 weeks, which was what both Ford & my sales guy said. I called him yesterday and he had already pulled my folder because he had checked the tracking and saw that it was on a rail car in New Orleans. He was already on top of it, keeping up with stuff for me.

Mine worked the same way. I got mine in about 6 months. Of course I got the basest of the base models which from reading some of the posts, that had something to do with it.

Ponchatoula. Gateway Ford down the street from me literally would not accept that the order bank was open, so I went to Hammond. (so maybe 15 minutes away, this is a small town, lol).

I actually bought my first new car at Gateway Motors - a brand new 1966 Ford Falcon with an outrageous MSRP of something around $1,800.00. I went back for my 50th class reunion and we met at the old location of Gateway. I did not know if the went out of business or what, but from what you said, I guess they moved.

Small world. Actually will be in area in about two weeks. Have to make my twice a year trip to visit friends and what few relatives I have left out that way.
