I don't know what the criteria is for good and bad dealers and if this is based on sales or service experience but I totally agree with Keith Hawthorn Ford in Charlotte. I had horrible experiences there with both sales and service. I would add Classic Ford in Shelby NC to the bad dealer list. I went to look at a Maverick there back in Nov and they wouldn't honor their advertised price and they had $1000 worth of junk add-ons that they wouldn't take off and another $1000 in doc fees making their OTD price $3000 more than they were advertising. They were so bad I filed a complaint with the FTC. How do I download this spreadsheet

I bought my 2024 Lariat back in Nov at Burns Ford of York, in SC. They were okay. I only got a $400 discount with a $600 doc fee. She pushed their warranty hard though. $85 a month on my payment over 6 years didn't seem worth it to me. Burns Ford is one of the smaller dealers in the area. I have no experience with their service department yet. Nobody else I contacted in Nov was willing to take less than MSRP except Burns, though I have seen several markdowns since I bought my truck.
