Psh, only two seats? I currently have three across the rear seat: a rear-facing baby seat, a front-facing toddler seat, and a child booster seat. They all fit, no issues.
I would love this picture! Would help me future proof the truck.

Stumbled on this great review if you are a parent that will be using car seats.

Baby car seats are ridiculously bulky in the US. European car seats are much smaller (though pricey). You practically have to buy a very large sedan to fit some of the car seats. Just dumb.

Glad the Maverick is set up well enough. (though still not a fan of most car seat designs)

True. When my twin sons were born in 2009 I was driving a 2006 Toyota Matrix. There was not enough room for me to actually drive the car with a rear facing child seat installed behind the driver's seat. I didn't discover this until the day before they were born. I managed to get them the hour drive home from the hospital with my knees banging into the dashboard and my arms bent at an awkward angle.

Two days later (before we ever left the house again with the boys) I went and bought a minivan that would actually fit both rear facing seats while allowing me to drive safely. Luckily I'm down to just one kid in a booster seat now, but with the size of that seat it will probably still be hard to get two 13 year olds and that seat 3 across in a Maverick. I guess I will find out if Ford ever builds me one.

We have a 4Ever (Gracco?) from Costco and have traveled across country in our Maverick with no issues. I even keep the car seat behind me at 6’1” driving position. There’s lots of room. Actually the foot area on driver side has more room in the Maverick than our much larger Kia Telluride.
