How can I go lower?

I got a full switch suspension kit with the universal air shocks (pretty sure it’s the same shit on all the bagged mavericks) mine just doesn’t sit near as low as ones in this group and seen online , even on the product images.

The grey truck pictured “Bagged Maverick” in this group for example is far lower. I do see I’m running a larger tire which will get me a bit lower switching those, but for the bags I just feel like it should be sitting lower. Was there anything out of the ordinary you guys had to do when installing the kit? I feel as if it can’t really be installed wrong once it’s on but I’m in need of some help. Anything helps thank you guys.

The passenger side axle on the Maverick often makes contact with the frame rail before the air strut is fully compressed.

A "C-notch" or axle notch. This involves cutting a small semi-circle out of the frame rail to allow the axle to travel higher into the chassis. Without this, you'll be limited by metal-on-metal contact.

The factory rear control arms and the subframe often bind or bottom out against each other.

Check if your kit included shortened or high-clearance rear control arms. If you are using the OEM arms, the "pocket" where the air spring sits might be hitting the subframe. Some owners also trim the bump stop "cup" (the metal housing, not just the rubber) to gain an extra inch of travel.

Are you swerving around uneven street sections?

I had experience with these back in the 1980's. Belonged to a Mini Truck club.
There were two, both Nissans. One of them was having undercarriage repairs done, after every other show.
The Other always lagged behind because he was dodging (his words..) the "Mine Fields" in the road..

I meant it was impractical for me. I can't haul 1300lbs of firewood out of the woods in it. I go to a few car and motorcycle shows to admire their rides/workmanship, most of them impractical for me. Look at my emoji. Impractical, right? I bought it site unseen, had my wife drive me 160 miles to the other side of St. Louis and rode it home. She wanted me to trailer it (practical) but I wouldn't hear it. Most riders tell me Blueboy is impractical. I just smile.

Most, if not all, of the trucks that sit that low in the front have raised their upper strut mount.
