It's a little unclear from the memo. Are they saying that the Spray In Bedliner is no longer a constraint? If that's the case, I am going to the dealer today to add it

Such a non constraint they have a slightly discounted package for encouraging people to add it. Easy add now if you want it.

This seems to indicate you can change between Hybrid and EcoBoost.

Very good information. Thank you for sharing.

It does look like they are saying they will allow changing from hybrid to EB? @KevCuRaoi and/or @fordvideoguy ???

In pretty photo form:

That memo doesn't look good for hybrid and xl orders. If people can't change from a hybrid to Ecoboost what can they do?..

IMHO it appears simply that you can get a bedliner and the rail system for the same price as the bedliner and it is NOT a constraint. It also appears that the window has opened for orders to be changed from Hybrid to EB since they can produce only half of the Hybrids that have been ordered. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

And yet again Ford hangs us out to dry. My β€˜22 order with a canceled VIN was rolled over to β€˜23 and already got scheduled. I’m obviously glad it’s scheduled, but now I’m paying $495 for a spray in bedliner when everybody else can get the SIBL and cargo system for $495.

Looks to me like you can change trims without affecting your place in line and that there’s a new SIBL with cargo management combo for $495. If they would allow hybrids to change to EB that would be even better.

Yes, it does! It makes sense (but I am still surprised....they have never allowed that before that I know of)

Unfortunately, I was in contact with my dealer yesterday after he tried to process my change from a hybrid xl 2.5 to a Ecoboost 2.0, and he said that that switch was not allowed, that Ford would be making no more 2.0 Mavericks this year. A group member said this was because motor switches are not allowed, but the communication from the dealer was specific re the 2.0 availability being maxed out. I THOUGHT I had read earlier that the 2.0 switch was encouraged, as they dropped the extra cost for that motor. Any advice on actually GETTING a truck appreciated, otherwise stuck singing the "35% BLUES"
This is the actual wording from my dealer: My GM attempted to change the order to an Ecoboost motor, but the Ford ordering utility would not accept this change. It informed him that the Ecoboost engine had received an early balance out, meaning no more non-hybrid Mavericks will be built in the 2023 model year.

Pretty wild that Ford knowingly took twice as many hybrid orders as they could fulfill. They really need to hire someone to overhaul their ordering software.
