New member here been reading lots of posts. Got my order in for an Avalanche gray XLT + CP360 + LUX + Rear sliding window + Remote Start.

I’m thinking about dropping the LUX. I don’t needed heated seats and mirrors or color matched mirrors and handles. The tow hitch is included in the Tremor package. If I add the 8 way seat, the 400w inverter in the cab then I think I save myself $1300. I can add a plug and LED box lighting aftermarket for not too much money. Am I missing something? I guess the passenger seat would be 4 way not 6 way adjustable but that’s not a big deal to me. Anything else I’m totally overlooking?

The only way to get the 8 way seat is with the Lux.

Do you have a Fleet ID #, or are you planning on doing this aftermarket? The only way to order a Maverick with the 8-way power driver seat is to either order an XLT/Lariat with Luxury Package, or to have a registered Fleet ID #.

You might be able to save some money by using X-plan and the Farm Bureau discounts. May or may not add up to $1300 in savings. I should save about $760 just by using X-Plan pricing just off the cost of my order. That figure doesn't include the processing fee cap that X-plan triggers

I have the lux package, honestly, I use the remote start through the app way more than my keys, I can start it from further away, out of LOS, and I can extend how long it runs.

Also, while I don't really care about the heated seats, my wife loves them, they heat up pretty quickly, and (the drivers seat) turns on automatically if I remote start below a certain temp, if you leave the passenger seat on, it'll warm up as well. The heated steering wheel is nice, and I'm sure I'll use it when that four letter S word starts to fall. My biggest 2 reasons were the spray in bed liner (no longer offered with the package - sorry) and the heated mirrors, I also really wanted the leather steering wheel, but could've added a wrap. The heated mirrors were huge to me, as I drive a lot (took delivery July 30th, and already have 6K miles)

I had an XL before it was wrecked. I never felt the need for heated seats at all. I would need them if I had leather instead of cloth.
