Which interior do you like better? Comes down to that. 8 way seat with adjustable lumbar support was a big plus for me with the Lariat

Glad they offer a power driver seat in the XLT Luxury Package though, since I'm not a big fan of Leathery seating surfaces, and don't need some of the other Lariat options like dual-zone climate, etc.
Good video, watched that earlier this week.

We were poor when I was a kid. In 66 my dad bought a used 65 Olds Vista Cruiser. We lived in Tucson and it had AC. That was luxury.

I ordered the XL then changed it to an XLT the next day. that's fancy enough for me.

Oh man, I'd still love to get an early 70s Vista Cruiser, love that front end. I've seen only 1 ever, at a small car show in Guerneville, CA of all places.

Ours looked like this one. The Buick Sport Wagon looked more sporty. A nice example goes for big bucks now.

Ford Maverick XLT or LARIAT? Vista

I had a Lariat hybrid order for a few months and changed to an XLT after finally seeing them in person.

I was actually considering changing to an XL when I finally got scheduled, so I decided to hold tight and not "disturb the force" by changing at this point. Don't want to throw a wrench in the scheduling mechanism once it starts moving.

I like the XL's interior color best, however I do like the XLT's wheels, even over the Lariat Hybrid's wheels.
I prefer the analog fuel/temp gauges in the XLT to electronic segmented bar-graph ones on the Lariat.
Good to hear that the acoustic glass doesn't make a huge difference with noise. I recall some reviews noticing significant noise reduction with the spray-in bedliner vs. without.

Thanks for the video. Agree about the creature comforts for the Lariat. I'm 64 and been driving my past dads base Camry 2014. So wanted the comforts and tech that can almost drive it's self as center lane etc and be able to take long 9 hour road trips. Was an airborne engineer and have been nicked up. Up until now would have definitely bought the XLT as have been a middle of the road guy.

The thing that kills the Lariat trim for me is that you still don't get heated seats unless you get the Lux Package.

Someone earlier hit an old guy chord and said “Ginger or Maryanne”…I am Maryanne all day.
Why do we have to choose one or the other, lets put a smile on everyones face. :)

For me push start was mandatory, so Lariat it is.
If that would have been on the XLT I would have bought that.

I test drove a Lariat was was going to buy it until I realized it didn't come with a heated steering wheel and heated seats. I'd rather have the XLT with the lux package, which does come with a heated steering wheel and heated seats.
Having said that, I ended up buying a Lariat with the Lux package. :p

I wanted adaptive cruise control (Ford's works REALLY well) so Lariat is the one I'm ordering.

Never having a push start, why is that so special?
