So I did my lift kit over the weekend and think my truck is good for now so I figured I’d share.

stuff:
HRG 1.5 inch lift kit
235/70r17 Goodyear workhorse at tires
Painted steelies satin black
Ford soft roll up cover
Ford bed mat and tailgate liner
Added some cheap bed lights (probably will never need to use them but was cheap and a fun way to kill an afternoon)
Weather tech floormats
Tinted front windows
Avs hood protector
Stubby antenna (stupid, 20$ had to have it)
Factory cruise control
And fx4 drive modes added

think that’s it. May do wheels eventually.

like most everyone has said on here the mavericks been a sweet little truck. I didn’t think I was going to like it that much. Traded in my 2019 ranger, 100% because of trade in value and price of the maverick, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I really like it. The ranger was a space ship with all its features but the maverick xl is still pretty fancy to me. No room for a toolbox though so I had to condense down but the under seat storage is awesome.

extra things I did was use different fasteners on the hood protector that work way better and added some pvc insulation to the crossbars or the soft cover to get it tighter.

also will post a pic of cv angle at ride hide with lift cause that is something I was interested in but could not find

Awesome tool kit and tote. Where did you find that flexible tote or duffel? I have not been able to find a tool kit that will fit behind the seat like yours.

Amazon. I had a bunch of harbor freight tool so I just went and bought enough more to finish out a cheap basic set to keep in the truck.

Ya I saw yours. Nice truck! One of the ones that convinced me to bite the bullet and get a lift kit.

do you have forscan? There’s a thread on here about how to add the drive modes. I have a post in there summarizing it. It’s just like two codes you have to change if I remember correctly.

Looks sharp! Love my HRG kit as well. Only thing I’m considering adding are maybe subframe spacers just to keep the geometry as close to factory as possible

Did you add the foam around the tonneau cover crossbars or is that how it comes from Ford? haven't seen that before.

Ya I add pvc insulation to them. There’s no tension adjustment on this one and it would still kinda bubble and flap no matter how tight I got it. This takes up some of the slack and made it way better. For mine at least.

Nice! Glad you like yours too. Ya I thought about it too but didn’t wanna hang the exhaust any lower. And they half shafts still are pretty close to level. Plus they don’t have to steer and the shock is probably still gonna be the limiting droop factor so they shouldn’t be outside of their range. I’m gonna roll the dice and see if it chews them up or not.

That’s kinda where I’m at the with subframe spacers too. Might be more inclined if the lift was more aggressive, like 2” or more. Although I am quietly hoping for a good corporate bonus year as I have been eying the Flatout Suspension kit. But my wife doesn’t need to know that….

I’ve seen two different sets of cruise control switches for the XL modification. Are the proper switches SW8576 and SW8579? Thanks

I’ve seen some lifts that made the wheels look like they were no longer centered in the wheel well but I don’t see that with yours. Did you do anything to center it?
