Have a friend that loves my Maverick hybrid, and now wants to desperately get one of his own while he waits likely another year for his Lightning to be produced. He's looking to find an XLT or Lariat trim HYBRID model at a dealer that is selling at MSRP, preferably in the Southeast region of the USA. Not really going to find any dealer who has a stock or cancelled order selling at MSRP or below. Those who bought at or under are specials made with the dealer (meaning? > conditions).

Did your friend look at the MarketPlace under Mavericks For Sale here in MTC under FORUM?
That would be the first place to start. And be open to traveling around the country to get it at this point due to low production numbers (20,000 units or so for USA).

I’ve called 100’s of dealers all over America and have only found 1 willing to charge MSRP if a Maverick order is canceled and handful in the $2k over MSRP. The rest are $5k-$15k over MSRP. I’ve given up and plan to wait to order a 2023 in August or wAit for my lightning order. Good luck.
