Unfortunately no. I really liked my truck because the custom order process allowed me to get exactly what I wanted, no more no less. It was handled well, plenty of power, fun to drive and was fairly practical.

Two things led me to trade it in: 1) reliability issues. Not only the recalls, but the trans would grab when it was cold and the right CV was starting to groan during turns. Trusting the mechanicals was getting difficult and I really hate having to be without my vehicle. I had a mazda 3 for 8 years that never needed anything at all. Also the paint chipped far too easily. In 10 years the front of that thing will look like a dart board.

The second was that it turned out that I really didn't need the bed anywhere near as often as I thought I would. We have an old explorer and that thing has been of more use to us than the pickup.

It's a shame, I really liked the mav but my head said it was time to move on before I had to deal with problems.

I traded my 23 xlt hybrid lux in today at 11,600 miles. Noisy dash, damper noise when cold, rumble strip vibration(likely tied to damper). Customized it and it is probably one of the nicest out there. I liked it okay, was only impressed by the mileage, tbh. I went back to a full size truck, a 24 F150. It is what it is and I don’t regret buying. It was a one time deal for me. Over hyped for sure.

Im going to look at a 24 XLT tomorrow and just wanted to ask that simple question.
No. First price jumps, my configuration today is 9$k more than in 2022 and simply isn't good enough of a vehicle to demand the price. Second, way to many recalls and issues with the Maverick. Ford is slowly, very, very slowly, dealing with issues now that they are into the fourth model year. Simply not fast enough to earn any trust with the brand. Third, Ford dealerships are crazy busy because of all the problems with their vehicles over the past 3-4 years (most recalled brand, year after year). Fourth, as another poster mentioned used vehicle prices have started to come back down to slightly saner levels.

I have a 2023 Maverick Hybrid XLT. I would absolutely buy it again. But I wouldn’t buy white. If I could change anything it would be the white, wheels and to make my sliding back window power (it’s a great combo with the sunroof). I like the lane control a lot and didn’t think I would. The mileage and utility are unbeatable for the price. I’ve had zero problems except for a dash rattle I’ve just accepted.

I have a 2022 XL hybrid with 33K on the odometer. Average 42 mpg, mostly highway. Zero cost for non routine maintenance repairs. I would buy a whole fleet of thus vehicle if I had the need. My only real complaint is the surcharge for hybrid. You'd think that if it's worth $7500 for the government to subsidize EV, IT'D be worth a couple grand to keep the hybrid option cheap.

I would buy again. Despite dash rattles, the occasional rumble-strip pulsations from the drivetrain, and poor AM/FM reception, it is fundamentally the right size, right utility, right passenger space, right drivability and amenities, and the right price for the market we are in. I also got the "gold" warranty thrown in. I've only had one of the recalls done, earlier in the year, but haven't had problems with deep sleep or CV axles yet, @ now 17k miles.

Yes, despite the recalls making my anxiety go nuts, and worrying about the things that could happen like the CV axles or the battery, I still love this truck. Despite the horror stories some have unfortunately have, mines been flawless for the most part. The dashboard rattle bothers me, but aside from that, it's a great vehicle. Super fuel efficient, perfectly reliable in my case, fun to drive, very practical, and I love the area 51 color.

There have been days where I've considered selling it, but most other affordable vehicles are having worse issues, and are far less compelling as an overall package. I'd feel like I was downgrading if I traded my maverick for a civic or Corolla, or even a Kia soul.

Definitely not. Already had two recalls and it's currently in the shop to get the CV axles replaced as well as a new evaporator and carpet as the floor boards are soaked. I waited 18 months for mine and only good thing was the price and okay gas mileage. Going back to Toyota after this one.

I am driving a 2022 XLT Hybrid with 29,388 miles on the truck (38.9mpg). I have never had a problem with the truck of any kind. I change my oil at the dealer every 7,000 miles. I have made two trips to the East Coast (NC) and just returned from a trip to Missoula, MT. I could not be more satisfied. A comfortable ride, easy to drive with enough zip to do everything I need it to do.

I didn't think XLTs had Lane centering? Did you do the aftermarket add on, or are you talking about Lane Keep Assist.
If you like LKA, you'd love Lane Centering.

Will I buy again? No, not anytime soon.

I’m perfectly happy with my ā€˜22 hybrid Lariat loaded up. I’ve customized it with accessories that I like. I’ve never done that with any new or used vehicle I’ve had since I was 17, and I’m nearly 65 now. I plan on keeping my Mav for a very long time!
