same as our 2018 F-150 Sport with Coyote 5.0 V-8 and 10 spd trans. Put it in ECO mode, cruise control on hwy and mostly flat roads with no headwinds and I've seen 27 MPG in the dash computer multiple times.
I get 21 mpg average in my 2016 f150 supercrew 4X4 with a 2.7 EB. The 2.0 EB in a smaller vehicle should be a lot better then that.

our F-150 is Supercab, 6.5' bed, and selectable 4WD and electronic locking rear diff. "City" MPG average is a steady 18, combined about 20-22 depending on loads and hills. Expecting Mav to beat that for sure...

If my current truck got 18mpg city I would probably keep it instead of dealing with dealer sales shuffle...

These numbers are in line with my 2002 Accord...that's 700 pounds lighter and obviously has no bed. I'm fine with that.

Keep in mind that all of those examples are 2.0 with the 4K tow package. 4K tow package includes a final drive of 3.81 instead of 3.64 so non 4K tow models might break that 30mpg barrier.

This seems more realistic than what some people are saying about the trainers. I've been looking and waiting for the EPA and crash test stuff to come out. Cool to see this! Thank you for sharing.
Yup. Crash test is going to be a key deal.

Man If I did not have a thing against Turbocharged engines (really bad experiences/luck) I would seriously consider a FWD EB. Those things will be fast, light and probably get 30-32 highway.

And something that I'm slightly concerned about. The other unibody trucks have had flying buttress designs. Now, the latest Ridgeline and Maverick will be without. Great for looks and visibility, I hope not a detriment to rigidity.

Ford has already stated they are targeting 40 MPG for Hybrid. You're not saying you don't believe it until you see it are you?

Flying Buttress? Wasn't that a building design from like the 12th century? Not sure I'm getting the comparison to vehicles?

i never really thought about that. It does have a little chamfer at the transition, guessing that might help out structurally…
