Why get the 2023 XLT trim??

Since the XL now gives cruise control, what would the benefit of getting the XLT really be now?

2 main reasons for me --

- Moonroof is no longer an option on the XL
- I was going to replace the steelies with new wheels anyway, so factor that $750-800 or so into the difference in trim levels

Yeah I plan on putting real rims and tires on any trim I buy. Put these on my project Ranger for $300.

I didn't really see the value. It is still around a 2200 difference. For that you get interior colors you may or may not like better, power locking tailgate, keypad on the door, arm rest in the back, and some painted wheels.

I want CoPilot 360 regardless, so the XL will get power mirrors.

You can pick whatever rims you want for 500-1000 bucks. So you'd still be around 1K more on the XLT for little piddly things that I personally don't care about.

I think it's more of a value if there are options you really want that can't be added to the XL. Similar to paying the premium on the Lariat to get certain options.

Personally I like the interior colors better on the XLT.
Getting standard power mirrors
Remote locking tailgate
Arm rest with cup holders in the rear
Nice looking rims (personal opinion)

better upholstery on seating and rear has armrest with cup holders built in. power mirrors with blind spot mirror built in. upgraded wheels of course. keyless entry, bed tie downs. bed cubby for after market 12 volt accessories. auto lighting with wiper use. and a few I am missing

I prefer the xlt interior as well. But mainly, I want heated seats and for that, the xlt is the cheapest jump off point.

That is the only reason I need right there. Would not buy another vehicle in my life without a sunroof. That's worth 2k right there!

I had on order a XLT with black appearance pkg and Cp360 Wanted the BAP for the darker interior. 2200 for xlt 1600 for BAP. $3800 more than an XL that already has darker interior. Changed to XL ECO Got scheduled right away. With CP 360 as the only option and my 2750 private offer the cost is right at 20,000. I will add what I want later.

Mainly it’s that they make 59% mavericks as XLTs. But XL is tempting since I don’t mind basic.

That is the only reason I need right there. Would not buy another vehicle in my life without a sunroof. That's worth 2k right there!

Aftermarket Webasto/Hollandia is better unit than used on the Maverick. $1250 to $1500 aftermarket installer.

I wanted XL Hybrid, ordered XLT Hybrid on advice of salesperson and formum that XL Hybrid was very constrained and limited my odds of being scheduled.
