So since joining this forum dedicated to discussing the Ford Maverick I see the symbol (not sure of official or unofficial) for the Maverick has become a symbol of bull or male cows head with horns. I like this, but I have to ask about the story of how this came to be? How did the bull with horns become the community symbol of this new pickup truck?

The horn symbol has been part of the Ford Maverick logo since day one in 1970

The “horns” were initially inserted into the void above the V in Maverick and used in some of the original emblems.

Quote from wikipedia " The Texas Longhorn is a breed of cattle known for its characteristic horns, which can extend to over 8 feet (2.54 m) tip to tip for cows and bulls." Got to love Texas where the pickup is king.

According to the TFL video when they used the hybrid to haul logs, a Maverick is a cowboy term for a steer that doesn’t fall in line with the other cows when it comes to branding. He treads his own path and wants to be different. The 2022 Ford Maverick is a truck that comes standard with a hybrid drivetrain. A Maverick.

Has anyone found a good Maverick alternative 3D printable logo to go over the stock ford badges?

They picked maverick because it did well in market research with young people who had no idea Ford had already had a model called "maverick".
