What is it Trucklette, Compact Pickup or Small Sports Truck

Why label it, it has its feet in so many genres it can be whatever you want it to be.
Isn‘t that this generations kick, no labels?
One of the best reasons the name “Maverick” is appropriate.
I’ll just label mine as “next” as it will be a car, a truck and whatever else I need of it at the time.
Someone asks what it is…next, it’s just next.

In my opinion Trucklette would be something LESS that a truck. After owing a Maverick for about 3 weeks, this is either a small sport truck or a compact pickup. This is a fully-fledged truck for its class. I don't see anyone calling the other brands of small trucks Trucklette.

Please share you opinion. I for one will call my Maverick a small sport truck, due to its power and handling.

I'd just like to call it delivered.

To a Peterbuilt or a Frieghtliner an F-350 is a trucklette. The stupidest, and I mean the f&^%ing stupidest term I've ever heard. Humans are the worst.

In my opinion it’s just not that small - I’d say compact, because my old 80’s Toyota was small - my Nissan hardbody was still smaller than the Mav.
I’d apply trucklette to something like a Subaru Brat or those custom VW Beetles with a bed.
