I have loved owning a gen 1 Ridgeline. There may be several things I miss, 17 mpg won't be one of them.

What I hope I DON'T miss is the reliability of my last three vehicle. All from Toyota. I did have two flat tires on my Camry, so they're not all THAT good.

Looks and that's it. Just wasn't my gig. The worst clutch/manual transmission on the planet.
Actually that isn't true. It was fanfriggintastic in heavy deep snow. Hopefully the Mav will at least get me through the stuff with snow tires, AWD, and the slippery mode.

Raw speed, great handling, and good mpg to boot. In fact, the longer I wait, the less likely I will trade or sell my coupe. It’s just too damned fun to drive, and it will get to 150 mph pdq 😎 Best vehicle I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned about 20 😉

Coming from my old 2000 Ranger I miss my old shifter, especially every time I make a 3 point turn. Also miss just being able to go through old roads without worrying about scratching it up.

The Mav Hybrid will replace two vehicles in my little fleet. From both I'll miss dirt cheap insurance coverage.

From the '03 F-150, I'll miss the 8' bed and 5700# towing capacity.

From the '87 Prelude, I'll miss the manual transmission, diminutive size, oh-so-80s vibe, and overall fun, "analog" driving experience. Oh, and the pop-up headlamps.

I've seen a lot of the "no cruise control in XL trim" posts and started thinking about what I'll miss once my Maverick (finally) gets here. For me it's definitely the no HomeLink button for garage door openers. Sounds trivial but I've had something built into my visor for probably the last 20 years, and now I'm going to have an ugly fob clipped to the visor. Can't wait for a brand new truck, but that little thing just bugs me. You'd think it would be integrated into the Luxury package, or at least a $150-$200 add on...

What do you/will you miss from your last vehicle(s) in your new Maverick?
12 volt power to the cigarette lighter with key off.

My current 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac probably has better off-road and winter roads capabilities with higher clearance, body-on-frame construction, and on-demand 4WD. Fortunately I'm using those things less and happy to trade for a 40+ mpg Maverick Hybrid.

1) I use a cassette adapter to listen to music on my phone, and there's something nostalgic about that.
2) When I head anywhere with friends, I'm never the driver since my car is old, cramped and gets 18mpg. I love not having to be the driver, and I feel like I may be driving more in a Maverick.

I love triangle vent windows. So glad the 69 barracuda I am restoring has these. My 68 and 69 chargers I had years ago had them as well. The reason manufacturers ditched these I think was because of the additional parts required to have them in a design, and it takes away from having that smooth one piece window.
